How to Use Your Nivow Bag

How to Use Your Nivow Bag

The Nivow Bag is designed to help clean and protect sneakers that are in good condition, while also helping protect your washing machine during the wash cycle.

It does not replace pre-cleaning and does not repair existing damage.

Choose the Right Bag

Yellow Bag: For colored or dark sneakers.

White Bag: For white or light-colored sneakers only.

Do not mix white and yellow bags in the same wash. Color transfer may occur.

First Use

Before using your Nivow Bag for the first time:

Turn the bag inside out and wash it separately, just like you would with any new fabric item.

1. Before Washing Your Sneakers

Remove any mud, dust, or loose dirt before placing your sneakers in the bag.

For best results, use a mild or neutral detergent.

For a deeper clean, you can also use a sneaker cleaning brush with a soap dispenser before washing.

Visible Stains or Heavy Dirt

If your sneakers have:

  • Visible stains.

  • Heavy dirt.

  • Difficult marks.

  • Built-up grime.

We recommend pre-cleaning them by hand or soaking them before using the Nivow Bag.

The bag helps improve the washing process, but it may not remove deep stains on its own.

Sneakers Not Suitable for Machine Washing

Do not machine wash these materials, even with the Nivow Bag:

  • Leather.

  • Suede.

  • Nubuck.

  • Patent leather.

  • Jute, espadrille, or delicate materials.

  • Sneakers with fragile decorative elements.

These materials require specialized hand cleaning.

2. Place the Sneakers Inside the Bag

Place one sneaker per bag.

Fully close the zipper before washing.

Why Only One Sneaker Per Bag?

The Nivow Bag uses internal fibers that help clean through controlled friction.

If you place two sneakers in the same bag:

  • They may hit each other.

  • They may not properly contact the internal fibers.

  • The cleaning result may be less effective.

One sneaker per bag = better cleaning and better protection.

3. Washing Machine Settings

Place the closed bag inside the washing machine and add a mild or neutral detergent.

Recommended settings:

  • Delicate cycle.

  • Cold water.

  • No spin cycle recommended.

  • Duration: 45–60 minutes.

4. Drying

Air dry only.

Do not use a dryer.

Heat may deform or damage your sneakers.

Final Result

Cleaner sneakers.

Better protection.

Less banging inside the washing machine.
